Solarized comes with two different color schemes to choose: light and dark.
Solarized offers a 2 column layout in case you want to place some secondary content in a sidebar. If there is no content in the sidebar, the main page content automatically takes up the full page width.
The combination of the solarized color scheme and the monotype typography makes the theme perfect for technology oriented websites, giving it an IT related look and feel.
To respect its users’ freedom, the theme is 100% compatible with LibreJS (front- and backend).
